Custom Transfers
THE PROFESSIONAL CHOICE FOR BULK RUNS AND TRICKY FABRICS.
UltraColour PRO is a hybrid of digital + screen print built for hard-wearing uniforms, consistent brand colour, and reliable results on garments where standard DTF can struggle.

Blocker System
Blockers that keep colours clean — even on the tricky stuff.
Dye migration is one of the biggest causes of “mystery discolouration” after pressing — especially on polyester, sublimated garments, and technical outerwear. UltraColour PRO lets you add the right blocker for the job.
What happens without a blocker
The heat from pressing can reactivate dye inside the garment. That dye can push up into the transfer, causing discolouration now — or weeks later.
- Whites can turn grey on heavily dyed black polyester.
- Light elements can shift pink when applied to heavily dyed reds.
- Sublimated stripes can “ghost” through lighter prints.
- Soft shells may look fine day one, then develop dark speckling over time.
DyeBlocker
Built for heavily dyed polyesters. Not always required — but a smart insurance policy when you need peace of mind.
- Whites can turn grey on black polyester; light logos can shift pink on dyed reds.
- Even on light garments, any white element may yellow over time on “hot” dyes.
SublimationBlocker
Sublimation dye is heat-activated. Pressing can reactivate it and push colour into the transfer — especially on patterned garments.
- Stripes and patterns can show through lighter print areas (“ghosting”).
- Colour shift is most noticeable on light or white logos — less visible on dark prints.
Soft ShellBlocker
Designed for coated technical outerwear. Soft shell can look perfect at first — then deteriorate over the following weeks.
- Black dots can appear after a few weeks and gradually spread (often mistaken for mould).
- Risky for customer jobs — returns and replacements can land on you.
Adding a blocker for the first time?
Due to the additional layers, the application settings are a little different. Check them out here.
PRO vs basic DTF
Why PRO is the upgrade for demanding uniforms.
Basic DTF is awesome for many jobs — but it can fall short on tricky fabrics and long-wear applications. PRO is designed for that next level of reliability.
Blockers
Stop dye migration and reduce post-press surprises.
Thicker white base
Better durability and longevity on uniforms and workwear.
Truer colour output
Consistency across assets when brand colour matters.
Built for bulk
Cost effective at scale (50+ transfers)
Dye Migration Protection
Blockers to stop colour bleed.
Built tough
Perfect for uniforms + sports.
Colour Consist
Brand-safe output.
Product range & ordering
Order it ready-to-press — or gang it up on A4/A3 sheets.
Choose the workflow that suits your shop. If you want maximum speed on bulk runs, go ready-to-press. If you’re optimising cost and layout, use A4/A3 gang ordering templates.
Ready-to-Press (Square Cut) Best for bulk + speed
Perfect when you’re doing 20+ units and time is money. Transfers arrive square cut and ready to go, with spares included so you can test and press with confidence.
- Supplied in packs, ready to press
- Includes spares for testing
- Ideal for professional uniform workflows

Gang Ordering (A4 / A3 sheets) Template-based ordering
Use the template, place your artwork, then upload it with your order. Great for batching multiple logos or layouts efficiently.
Tip: If you’re not sure which format suits your order, choose A3 for efficiency on higher volume layouts.
Quick decision guide
- Want speed on bulk runs? Ready-to-Press
- Need dye protection? Add a Blocker
- Want efficient layouts? Gang A4/A3 sheets
If you’re ordering for a specific garment type (especially sublimated or soft shell), the right blocker matters.

FAQ
Quick answers before you order.
Which blocker do I need?
If the garment is sublimated polyester, choose Sublimation Blocker. If it’s a soft shell/technical outerwear fabric, choose Soft Shell Blocker. For general dye migration risk on poly blends or “hot” dyes, choose Dye Blocker. When in doubt, send the garment details and we’ll recommend the safest option.
What’s the difference between PRO and UltraColour MAX?
MAX is DTF and is brilliant for one-offs, short runs and super simple pressing. PRO is the professional upgrade for tougher applications: it offers blocker options, a more durable build, and more consistent brand-friendly colour output.
Can I order PRO as a gang sheet?
Yes — PRO gang ordering is supplied on A4 or A3 plastic sheets. Use the templates in the Resources section to lay out your artwork and upload with your order.
What file types should I upload?
Follow the Artwork Requirements for the best results. As a rule, high-res vector files are ideal where possible.
Do you include spares?
Ready-to-press PRO transfers typically include spares so you can test and press with confidence. (Exact quantity may vary by job.)
How do I keep PRO looking its best after pressing?
Let it set, wash inside out, and avoid harsh chemicals for best longevity. If you need your official care instructions word-for-word, paste them here and I’ll drop them into the care section precisely.
